Hot Yoga:

Our hot yoga classes are practiced in a dedicated room that is heated between 35-38 degrees Celsius (95-100 degrees Fahrenheit). There are many different styles that will be taught in the Hot Room. Please see class descriptions on this page for the various styles offered at Calm the Soul Yoga.

Yin Yoga:

For all levels. This practice focuses on holding gentle poses longer, to stretch the deep connective tissues and release tension throughout the body. Through this practice, you will both connect and restore the body, mind and soul while learning to work through challenges both physically and mentally.

Beginner Yoga:

New to Yoga. In this class, those who are new to yoga will be introduced to foundation poses, breathing techniques and some meditation, to help introduce you to a journey into the connection of the physical, emotional and mental bodies.

MIU (Mix it Up):

For all levels. Have you been looking for a way to change up your practice but unsure of where to begin? The MIU (Mix it Up) Yoga class is a perfect blend of Yin and Yang classes, giving you a different style of class each week to experience.

All Levels Yoga:

For all levels. In this class we practice a variety of poses, from foundational poses, to sun salutations, to breathing techniques. Clear instructions are continuously provided as well as variations for those who like to explore deepening their practice. This class will help you develop a clear understanding of yoga’s foundational poses, build confidence, flexibility and strength.

Gentle Yoga:

For all levels. This class is designed to be gentle, with a slower approach, to help wake up the energy within the body. We focus on warming up the joints, helping to create more ROM in a gentle way, moving mindfully and slowly. A majority of the poses are done seated or lying back, with a few standing poses added in. This practice is a great morning practice to help you to begin your day in a gentle, mindful way.

Calm Your Soul Yoga:

For all levels. This class offers students an opportunity to experience a gentle yoga class that includes meditation, grounding, and restorative/relaxing poses. All poses are meant to be done in a gentle way, encouraging students to experience calm, peace, support and grounding. Props are recommended for this practice to add comfort and relaxation.

Yoga Fusion:

For intermediate level. Expand your idea of yoga and experience this powerful practice. Through yoga movements, we sculpt and tone our bodies with stretching, core strengthening and muscle toning. We use light weights (optional), our body weight and flowing movements to learn connection to mind, body and breath.

Flow Yoga:

For experienced practitioners. In this class we learn to move with our breath guiding our movements. We’ll “flow” through sequences, including sun salutation variations. Flows will vary from slower flows to more energetic. This is a great class to explore movement with breath and discover the beauty of the breath to movement connection.

Power Flow Yoga:

For experienced practitioners. In this class we will create strength and flexibility while learning to move with our breath. We will flow through several poses and sequences, each one building upon the next. If you’re ready to bring the heat and kick your practice up a notch, then this class is for you!
